SO many thoughts inside my head
like a whirlwind of ideas mixed with emotions
but sometimes just thoughts with nothing attached
Does everyone have so many thoughts?
Sometimes it can overwhelm me
it can be hard to decifer
which thoughts are important
which thoughts will fade away in seconds
which thoughts should go away for your own good
which will be the ones you will forget
but what if we forget thoughts that are profound?
in a blink of an eye or a twitch of the brain
a new thought comes, without time to say goodbye
to what could be your best thought of the day
Above all some of my favorite thoughts
are the ones that are attached to emotions
happy, expressive beautiful thoughts
memories, fun, laughter, love
These are the thoughts that make me pause
if only for a minute, and appreciate life as I know it...
